Summary: To comprehend creativity as a process that is inherent to human beings, emphasizing the different perspectives that base it as a process directly linked to historic, social, political and economic contexts. Among the studied subjects, there are: Creativity and the process of innovation: concepts and principles. Stages of the creative process. Creativity and idea generation. Tools/Methods of creativity. Creative problem solutions: analysis, solutions development and implementation. Cognition and creativity.

 

Innovative Methods and Techniques for Teaching and Learning (4 credits, 60 hours)

Summary: To reflect, discuss and apply innovative methods and techniques of teaching-learning. Among the studied subjects, there are: Active methodologies. Flipped classroom. Project-based and problem-based learning. Peer instruction. Pedagogical resources with emphasis on creative teaching and learning. Technological resources with emphasis on teaching and learning.

Art and Mathematics (4 credits, 60 hours)

Summary: To explore and use mathematical concepts, techniques and procedures in artistic productions to promote an interdisciplinary dialogue between the knowledge of the mathematics field and creativity. Among the studies subjects, there are: Refining the vision: Mathematics and Art. Fractals Geometry with Art. Curves with Art. Surfaces with Art.

 

Creativity in Classroom (4 credits, 60 hours)

Summary: To reflect on the possibility of teaching in a creative way and to explore pedagogical methods and resources in different languages in the elaboration of creative classes to potentialize the multiple intelligences of the students. Among the studies subjects, there are: Mind map and concept map. Creative logical-mathematical classes. Problems solving. Educative software. Creative mediatic classes. Creative artistic classes.

 

Development of Educational Products for Assistive Technology (4 credits, 60 hours)

Summary: To develop skills for the teaching and learning for the use and development of electronic technology, ICT and software to aid people with special needs, making environments more accessible. Among the studied subjects, there are: theoretical and practical aspects of the different resources of Assistive Technology used by people with disabilities and reduced mobility, reflecting in their autonomy, independency, quality of life and social inclusion in the urban space. Microcontrollers. Firmware development. Sensors. Data communication. Programming for mobile devices. 

 

Methodology for the Validation of Educational Processes and Products (4 credits, 60 hours)

Summary: To develop methodological skills to critically evaluate educational processes and products of innovative nature to validate them. Among the studied subjects, there are: Evaluation and validation of educational processes and products. Criteria for evaluation of educative processes and products of innovative nature. Qualitative methodologies of evaluation. Quantitative methodologies of evaluation. Planning and development of researches for evaluation of innovation.

 

Online Teaching Methodology (4 credits, 60 hours)

Summary: Among the studied subjects, there are: Society, Technology and Education. The role of the professor and the student in contexts of online learning. Teaching methodologies. Electronic learning. Online discipline planning. 

 

Pedagogical Workshops (4 credits, 60 hours)

Summary: To develop learning objects that use pedagogical and technological resources of innovative nature that culminate in products and/or processes that envision the facilitation of learning in higher education. Among the studied subjects, there are: carry out workshops that demonstrate the use of pedagogical and technological resources of innovative nature. To develop products and/or processes for the development and update of higher education’s disciplines. 

 

Planning and Production of Educational Multimediatic Materials (4 credits, 60 hours)

Summary: To conceive, plan and produce multimediatic educational materials. Among the studied subjects, there are: Educational materials, products and processes in different and multiple mediatic languages. Potentialities of mediatization and convergence of media in education. Didactic planning and design. Planning and production of materials in mediatic and multimedia languages.

 

Creative Professor (4 credits, 60 hours)

Summary: To discuss the creativity of the higher education professor in teaching-learning and the ways of stimulating the creative behavior of students from innovative actions. Among the studied subjects, there are: definitions of creation, innovation and creativity in teaching-learning. Distinct approaches of the creative professor. Skills and expertise of the creative professor. Creative processes. Development and practical application of creative techniques. Locks and unlocks. Techniques for generating ideas.

 

Problems Solving Using Analytical and/or Computational Methods (4 credits, 60 hours)

Summary: To use the different potentialities of analytical and/or numerical methods and educative software in solving problems. Among the studied subjects, there are: Special real numbers. Old and new friends. The carrier pigeon problem. Dynamics of carcinogenic cells. Equation of the unidimensional heat. Instruments construction. The pose of Frida. The Brachistochrone problem. Society, Education and Innovation (4 credits, 60 hours)

Summary: To comprehend the relational dynamics between society, technology, education and innovation. Among the studied subjects, there are: society, technology, innovation and the digital culture. Technological processes and the role of innovation in society. Organizational models for innovation in different societies. Innovation and social and educational transformation.
