Area of Concentration: Teaching-Learning Methodologies
The only Area of Concentration of the master’s degree course is Teaching-Learning Methodologies, which seeks to educate new masters that are able to conceive, develop, test and evaluate processes and products. It aims to explore in a creative and innovative way different resources of Communication, Education and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) with the objective of giving methodological feasible solutions to the teaching-learning process in higher education.

Methodological Innovations in Higher Education (INOVAMES – Portuguese acronym)
This research line is targeted to the incorporation of methodological and technological innovations in the teaching practice, emphasizing the usage of many methods and techniques: active methodologies and pedagogical and technological resources to expand the future master’s capacity in developing innovative methodologies in the classroom.

Creativity and Innovation in Educational Processes and Products (CIPPE – Portuguese acronym)
This research line intends to conceive and develop creative products and processes for the teaching-learning, configured from the needs of different knowledge fields. With this objective, resources of Communication, Education and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) will be explored to generate innovative and feasible solutions. The processes and products developed will be evaluated through qualitative and/or quantitative researches to test and validate these solutions.
